Orville Councillor

Orville is the eldest brother of the two. He is never mind years old (LOL) and is from the rez, Naicatchewenin First Nation,Ontario, Canada. I've been performing live for a long time. In my youth, I was the lead singer in our church choir and quickly advanced through the ranks (LOL). My brother and I played live for anyone in our father's garage. In college, I played Rhythm guitar for the school's traveling rock band. After college, I started to perform by myself and did volunteer work at treatment centers, halfway houses, schools and many other social functions. Now I'm glad to be performing with my brother Kyle as the Wazhashk native performers. Ever since I was in my mother's belly, I've heard and felt the drum beat. O. C.

Kyle Councillor

Kyle Councillor is also an Ojibwe from a little reservation in Northwestern Ontario, Canada called Northwest Bay (a.k.a. Naicatchewenin or Nagaajiwanaang). Kyle incorporates his spiritual beliefs and lifestyle into his original flute compositions. Attending numerous Pow Wow's, Kyle shares his songs with the many spectators attending during his performances. Kyle performed with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in which he performed with a custom made flute that he designed. Kyle also plays lead guitar and is a well known powwow singer. Kyle sells his flutes that he makes. If you are interested in purchasing a flute made by Kyle, get in contact with us by requesting more information by email. The Webmaster

My name is Allan Snowball and I am the webmaster for the Wazhashk Native Performers Official Site. I am from Naicatchewenin First Nation. I work in conjunction with the performers during the design process.

Currently, The Wazhashk Native Performers and I are producing music files which will be available for download soon, their demos.
